ALIGN · Onboarding
Say it out loud before the first day at work.
Many new hires go wrong on small things nobody said. ALIGN can bring out the expectations on both sides and turn them into concrete agreements that both the new hire and the manager say yes to. Afterwards you can see whether the agreements held.
- What is it?
- An online application for starting new employees. It runs in the browser.
- Who uses it?
- The new hire, the manager and HR. Also job consultants and staffing agencies at a job start.
- And the new hire?
- The new hire chooses what is shared, and says yes to their part of the agreement.
- What does it require?
- A link for each party. The agreements can follow your own onboarding plan.
How it works
From expectation to an agreement that holds
STEP 01
Asks both parties
The new hire says what helps. The manager says what the job requires, and what is possible.
STEP 02
Shows the differences
ALIGN shows where you agree, and where you see it differently, so you can talk about it in time.
STEP 03
Makes agreements
The expectations become concrete agreements: who does what, and when.
STEP 04
Follows up
After the first days or weeks both answer: did it happen, and did it help?
What you get
What you get out of it
- A faster and more confident start for the new hire.
- Fewer misunderstandings in the first weeks.
- Agreements both parties have said yes to.
- An early sign if an agreement needs adjusting, so you can correct it in time.
A good fit
ALIGN is a good fit when
- You hire many new people or have high turnover.
- You want to keep more new hires through the first months.
- You help people into jobs, for example as an employment provider or staffing agency.
- You want onboarding to be consistent and easy to follow up on.

In depth
Behind ALIGN
How does a process start?
The process is created with the position, the purpose and the parties: the new hire, the manager, HR and possibly a trainer or job consultant. It can start after a hire or after a match in MATCH KOMPAS, where a concrete job opportunity has been chosen.
How does the new hire say what helps?
The new hire says, for example: Show me the task, and give me a fixed contact person for the first shifts. The themes tasks, instruction, independence and feedback, contact, pace and meaning guide them. The new hire can use part of their own profile and sees recipient and content before sharing. It depends on the task is also a valid answer.
How does the manager describe the conditions?
The manager describes what the job requires, and what the workplace can offer: training, contact person, working hours and flexibility. Each condition is marked as confirmed, proposed or unknown, and what can be adjusted is shown as a possibility.
What is the alignment card?
ALIGN puts the two sides next to each other: where you agree, what needs clarifying, and where there is a concrete difference to talk about. AI can suggest wording with a source, and the parties decide the content.
How is the agreement made?
The differences become agreements with responsibility on both sides, for example a demonstration on the first shift, a trial with a checklist and a follow-up after the third shift. Each party says yes to their part. If the content changes, a new version is created, which the parties accept again.
How do you follow up?
After the agreed shifts, days or weeks each party answers briefly: Was it delivered? Was it clear? Did it help? The answers stand separately, so different experiences become visible, and the rhythm can follow shifts or the first 30, 60 and 90 days.

In a short meeting we clarify your challenges and the solutions that fit. We deliver directly to companies and public organisations, or through a partner.
Together we clarify process, roles, data boundaries and the agreements to follow up on. ALIGN is often part of Onboarding & retention, Job activation & clarification. See how the match is found →
