What is it?
An online application that matches many candidates with many jobs. It runs in the browser.
Who uses it?
Job consultants, staffing agencies, recruiters and companies that hire continuously.
And the candidate?
The candidate describes their own wishes and conditions and can correct what is there.
What does it require?
Job descriptions and CVs or notes from conversations. MATCH KOMPAS gives them structure.

How it works

From job order to agreed start

STEP 01

Breaks the job down

The job becomes concrete tasks, for example receiving customers, packing goods or registering orders.

STEP 02

Sees the candidate's strengths

CV and conversation become experience that is held up against the same tasks.

STEP 03

Finds the bridge

A near-match shows what is missing, and how training or support can build the bridge.

STEP 04

Ready for dialogue

Candidate, company and consultant talk about the same thing, and people decide.

What you get

What you get out of it

  • More matches that last in practice.
  • A shorter path from unemployed to job.
  • A shared language between candidate, company and consultant.
  • More value from the candidates you already know.

A good fit

MATCH KOMPAS is a good fit when

  • You help people into jobs, for example as an employment provider, job centre or staffing agency.
  • You have many candidates and many jobs at once.
  • You hire continuously and want your own talent pool.
  • You want to give more people a chance with training and support.

In depth

Behind MATCH KOMPAS

How does the job become tasks?

The job order is broken into work elements: concrete tasks, requirements and what can be learned on the job. The workplace's conditions are included, for example training, contact person and working hours. Every requirement is marked as binding or open to change.

How is the candidate's experience described?

CV, notes from conversations and the candidate's own statements become documented experience, linked to the same work elements as the job. Every statement has a source, date and history, and conflicting statements stand side by side until they are clarified.

How are coverage and gaps shown?

For every pair of candidate and job you can see what is covered, what is unknown, and where training or support can close a gap. The unknown is shown openly, and the same input always gives the same result, so it can be verified.

Why are the axes kept apart?

MATCH KOMPAS keeps apart what the job requires, what you know about the candidate, and what is still unknown. That makes near-matches visible and gives the right questions instead of a ranking on one combined number.

Which questions does MATCH KOMPAS suggest?

The consultant gets suggestions for the questions that clarify the most for this particular pair of candidate and job. Candidate or company can answer directly, and answered questions are remembered.

What does the overview look like?

List and matrix show the whole pool on the axes you choose, for example opportunity and readiness. Every point opens source, date and next action. The same candidate can be matched with several jobs, and the same job can find several candidates.

What happens when a pair is chosen?

The reviewed proposal is passed on to ALIGN, where candidate and company make agreements about the start. The acceptance comes from the parties themselves.
